My name is Emiliano Gómez Ventura, although almost everyone calls me Emi.
I was born in Buenos Aires and grew up in Barcelona, a city that shaped me and gave me an open view of the world. I do not come from a family of winegrowers or from an agricultural tradition. My approach to the vineyard was not inherited; it was a conscious decision.
For years I have worked in communication, creativity and project direction. That background taught me to observe, to listen and to build with intention. Today, that same perspective remains present in the way I understand wine: every decision has consequences and every detail matters.
The step into viticulture was neither immediate nor impulsive. I began by recovering vineyards and learning through practice, working alongside experienced growers and accepting that the land cannot be controlled or rushed. It must be understood over time.
Lavinaventura was born from this gradual transition. It is not a romantic gesture or a radical shift, but a real process that continues to evolve. Balancing my professional work with the vineyard requires precision, organisation and coherence in every step.
I continue to build the project with patience and determination. Without haste, but with direction.
